Dr.Shivani Shah
Dental Associate
Dr. Shah journey in dentistry began with a profound passion for patient care and an unwavering commitment to excellence that has shone throughout her career.
Born and raised in India, Dr. Shah graduated with honors from MP Dental College in 2014. Her dedication to both academics and extracurricular activities earned her the prestigious title of “Outstanding Student of the Year.”
After graduation, she completed a comprehensive rotating internship across various dental specialties. Dr. Shah then worked as an associate dentist, where she honed her clinical skills and patient management expertise before seeking new horizons abroad.
In her pursuit of professional growth, Dr. Shah moved to Canada, where she has spent the last eight years refining her craft. Her diverse experience in Canadian dental settings has enriched her knowledge and enabled her to adapt her skills to serve a multicultural patient base.
In April 2024, Dr. Shah reached a significant milestone by successfully completing the National Dental Examination Board Competency exams, earning her official recognition as a licensed dentist in Canada.
Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, Dr. Shah excels in communicating with patients in multiple languages, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Shah cherishes time with her family, loves traveling, and enjoys playful moments with her energetic two-year-old toddler, who keeps her constantly on her toes.
Aiza Teofilo
Dental Assistant
Aiza was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada at the age of 13. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Global and International Studies from Carleton University in 2021. Although she initially did not plan to enter the dental field, she decided to pursue a career as a dental assistant in 2023. She recently earned her diploma and finds great joy in her role, especially in seeing the smiles and satisfaction on her clients’ faces after their treatments.
Aiza is fluent in Tagalog and English and also speaks multiple Filipino languages and dialects, including Kankanaey, Ilocano, Bisaya, and Bla’an.
She is known for her compassion and enjoys building connections with her clients, appreciating the diverse life stories they share.
In her free time, Aiza enjoys playing with her sister’s dog, traveling with her family, and spending time with the people she values most.
Priya Retna Kumari
Registered Dental Hygienist
Priya Retna Kumari began her dental career in 2018 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from India. Seeking further specialization, she completed an Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene with honors from Algonquin College in Ottawa. Since then, Priya has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
She is an active member of the Canadian Dental Hygienist Association, demonstrating her commitment to the profession and her dedication to staying current with the latest advancements in the field. Priya believes in the importance of continuing education and strives to expand her knowledge and skills to provide the best care to her clients.
Passionate about patient education, Priya is devoted to teaching her clients about the significance of oral hygiene. She empowers them with the knowledge needed to maintain a healthy smile, emphasizing preventative care and the overall well-being of her clients.
