Endodontics
Endodontics is an area of dentistry that deals with the nerves of the teeth and is one of the more common dental procedures performed. Root canal treatment is required whenever the pulp (soft tissue containing nerves and blood vessels) inside the tooth is infected due to cracks, deep cavities or repeated dental procedures.
Endodontic treatment involves the removal of the inflamed pulp and then filling the canal with a sealant to strengthen the healthy portion of the tooth. It is highly recommended that the treated tooth be fitted with a crown afterwards. Root canal therapy is remarkably effective in halting the spread of infection which could otherwise result in the loss of your natural tooth.
We are dedicated to providing high-quality dental care that looks after our patients’s oral health in the most warm, caring and respectful environment.
